Celebrating My Daddy

Fathers day is always a special day for me.  My daddy means the world to me. God truly blessed me and my family with an amazing man.  I love him more and more each day.

Welcome to the world Brooklyn

Brooklyn finally decided to join our family.  She is such a doll baby.  She was so tiny when she was born she looked like a baby doll.  Really she did! She is getting bigger by the day.  I'm sure it want take her long to catch up.  I am so proud to have another niece and someone else to call me Aunt B.  I love you Brooklyn and I cant want to teach you and help guide you through this world.

Chicken Houses

Wow where has the time gone?  I do a horrible job at blogging! Hopefully in the future I will get better at this.  Now for some catch up time.  Life as "we" no it has changed forever!  Which is a good thing. Steven and I have decided to build chicken houses. This has been some process. We have started out with building two for now, but If everything goes well I can see more in our future. Who would of ever thought I would be involved in the farm lifestyle?  Not me!  Steven in gun ho about all of this!  I can just see the sparkle in his eye.  Steven lives for farming.  This has been a dream of his for sometime, so it is so good to see it all come together for him.  Its truly a blessing for both of us.  We are very grateful that we are able to start this business.
The picture below is one of our houses.  Each house will have around 10,000 full grown chickens.  Our houses will be producing eggs.
I am sure i will be posting about theses houses more in the future.  Wish us luck~

Sleep over with mini me!

Thursday night Hal decided that she wanted to spend the night with us.  Our home is always welcome to our nieces and nephews.  We just love having them over. Hal is  the only one so far that will spend the night.  We are working on Landry, but I dont see this happening anytime soon. We went  for supper at El Patron then came home for bath time.  This was an experience in its self.  I personally cant want to have a little one running around, but it took me till ten thirty to get her fed bathed and tucked into bed. I am hoping that when I have a child routine will be KEY and the time will go faster. Callie had her baby teeth extracted Friday, so Hal took on the responsibilty to take care of her.  Poor Cal, she was so lifeless after being put to sleep.  Hallie was such a big help.  Me and Steven cant wait for her to come back and stay the
night.  She is always cracking us up with her since of humor.  "I dont no who she gets it from"
